Nope, I have a microplush blanket. Those things are so warm, I really recommend them. I put mine in the dryer and ruined it; I immediately went and bought another.

I got one from my aunt recently but we have yet to try it - I'm more worried about it sucking up the electricity.

I have a water bed which I love as it is heated and it is so nice to get into a warm bed

I am selling it though. I plan on getting a heated blanket with the new bed

I don't make the bed, it's just a ball of sheets and a comforter. When it's time to sleep I rearrange the sheets and blanket so I'm somewhat covered.

when our house was oil heated we had one on our bed which was great! We'd turn it on a half hour before bed to warm everything. It was the nicest thing to crawl into a warm bed. It was the kind that covers your mattress and then you put your sheets over top.

My son has on on his bed as he really loves a warm bed.

They aren't the fire hazards like they used to be, so don't be afraid to use one, and they don't get hot enough to hurt you either.

I am thinking of using it just to warm the sheets. Cold sheets kind of kills the mood.

We have one and I do indeed turn it on before going to bed to warm the sheets up :) It's nice & toasty that way.

Considering we're expecting to go down to around 29 tonight (YaY!) I'll be using it tonight for sure.

I miss our heated waterbed in the warming respect, but I don't miss having to worry about leaks :)

I used to but like Nat, I get too cotton pickin' hot as it is now, I'm constantly throwing the covers off and on, plus my animals keep snuggling against me.....
