you are too young to vote but this is the kind of mentality that gets people like Obama elected

voting based on emotions rather than learning the details and then voting

once again style over substance wins :willy_nilly:

Yes--emotion put Obama in office. These Moore-Ons that voted for him will soon learn there is no such thing as "free healthcare" or free anything. They will end up paying dearly for his social programs--the only people who benefit with Obama in office are people that are already on the government tit.

I agree wholeheartedly. People of all political stripes vote with their emotions all the time. Imagine doggedly voting against somebody and shooting them down before they are even in office simply because they are of the party one dislikes? The horror! :eek

so why should it be any different now. :willy_nilly:

hell the liberals demonized Bush from day one.

you honestly think one side is gonna stop and then the other side will follow suit and continue the nicey nice?

bull shit. that is a sign of weakness the opposition would thrive on.

That's what's so hilarious in all this--the liberals threatening to move out of the country if Bush is elected and then plotting from day one to destroy everything he tried to do even if it meant destruction of their own country/economy (and most times it did) and now they are saying "we need to work together!". Bullshit. If the guy comes up with a plan I agree with I'll support it and that's the difference between me and most liberals. I'm intellectually honest and will agree when something works logically and mathematically. Liberals are so driven by emotional drivel that they cannot ever concede that a particular plan is good or bad--if it doesn't fit political correctness and ideology, its bad end of story. Everything Bush did was bad. That's the kind of thinking that's gotten us where we are.

Politics at all levels is a dirty rotten business. I have seen it up close and personal at the state and local level. It is a no holds bar contest for domination over the opposition. It will never change and those who buy into the bull shit that this or that candidate will be inclusive is living in outer space.

Dude I voted in school for him. And it counted.
um I just looked at your profile

dude you are no where near able to vote where it counts

unless you actually thought your vote at high school or junior high meant something :24:

sorry to burst your bubble but it meant nothing :D

and just because a guy is 72 years old does not make him old. I saw McCain this summer at a stop in town. He is vibrant as anybody 20 years younger. You would be happy to reach that age and be in the same shape. My dad lived to 85 and he was as sharp as any 60 year old I knew and as active.

What's the view on NAFTA there? There is fear-mongering here that Obama is going to renegotiate it. Allegedly targeted are oil, pork, beef and sofwood lumber. I hear fearmongering in the press here constantly but rarely any substance.
