Do you recognize that God gains pleasure in creating evil?

Revelation 4:11
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

This quote indicates that the creation of evil is an ongoing process by God and that he creates evil for his pleasure. This makes sense in that God would not create something that he did not want in the world or that would displease him.

As a Gnostic Christian, I recognize that the concept of God is all myth.

Literal and historic belief did not generally come about till about the years 80. 50 years after the death of Jesus. In fact, Jesus was not declared divine till the Trinity concept was accepted, by the force of Constantine in 380.

Having said this, I recognize why the ancient thinkers would say that God is pleased when he creates evil in the world.

Do you understand how and why God gains pleasure from creating evil and sin?

If not, why do you think God would create evil and sin for his displeasure?

If God does not do or create evil as some think, then who else has the power to create evil?

I've heard rumors the spirits of MA's fantasy world treat him the same way.....sigh!

Some have never believed and say they have been contacted by God himself.. Their reward by mankind is/was to be placed in a ward and treated like they were/are insane.. Much as there are many atheist who suddenly turn to God in their last moments of life. Their only difference is no locked them away.

The problem with God is that you either believe or you don't and that's fine by me. I don't believe in religion but that's another topic in itself..

Trying to make fun of those who believe is just as bad as those who make fun of those who don't.

I guess the only sure date that will reveal a God or not is death. I sure hope if he exist he is forgiving to those who who tried to make fun of others.

IMHO, from what I've read of what GIA has posted.......not God of the Old Testament, not God of the New Testament nor any element of the Trinity.

But along with that, additional gods, demons, succubi and supernatural gnostic concepts/principles that apparently have no basis for existence in our physical reality beyond merely thinking them up.

From a bit of reading and searches, he appears a gnostic warrior/priest, labeling himself as a 'Gnostic Christian' but as you can see, not much 'Christianity' about his beliefs.

Basically, he's pushing his gnostic religion by attacking Christianity. The 'enemies of my enemies are my friends' concept appears to have created a strange alliance with atheists and agnostics......where the rejection of faith and the embracing of faith are combined in addition to the argument for creating a culture of drug abuse, perhaps a feature attraction.
This presents an incredible morality play, where insanity obviously rules the playground and rational thoughts become the whims of fantasy.

Not the miracle working super absentee bible God but that does not mean I cannot analyse what is said of him in scriptures. After all, it is a consolidated bunch of ancient wisdom sayings from many religions.

I can see why the scribes and myth makers could say he gets pleasure from evil and just wondered if others could follow the dots the way I do.
