I wanted to buy two pairs, my opticians had a buy one get one free offer, but the offer was only for the frames and I need to have thin lenses which cost a lot of money. I just couldn't afford it.
I wear contacts pretty much all day. I have one pair of glasses which aren't even the right prescription any more, but I only wear them so I don't kill myself between the bathroom and the bedroom :ninja
Two pairs would be a nice safety net. I've had my current pair for a few years now, which is the longest any pair of glasses have ever lasted for me. (Touch wood)
I have an OLD pair of regular glasses, a pair of Oakley half jackets with I can use non script lenses and script lenses in.. I have 2 sets of script lenses, clear and sunglass... as well as my regular nike frames I wear most of the time.. I used to only where my glasses at home since I have contacts also, but rarely put those in unless I am going out or something else is going on..
I have one pair of driving glasses in the car. One pair of driving prescription sunglasses in the car. At home I have an old pair of glasses I use to watch tv.
I have three pair of prescription eye glasses, my new ones, the ones from a few years ago, and my originals that still work well for me dispite the fact that I've had them since 1993!
I have my prescription glasses and a backup pair... which also happened to be my old glasses. Though I can't remember where said backup pair is right now off the top of my head, so a whole lot of good they'd be if my current glasses broke. :24:
