Do you listen to Electronic Dance Music (EDM)?

I do realize that some forms of electronic dance music have become very commercial, and yet it seems that EDM still lags behind conventional pop music in terms of popularity, and by a long way, for that matter. On the personal front, I listen to a lot of EDM (especially Trance). I find it to be quite addictive. My favorite artists are Armin van Buuren, Andy Moor and DJ Omnia among others. Are you aware of these names? If you don't listen to EDM, why not?

I love it in moderation. Good for exercising and just having fun dancing. I don't know the names of the DJs; altho, I know not all of them are good mixers.

Although EDM is not something that I can actually sit down and listen to and I'm not familiar with any of the artists mentioned - I have to say that even though I'm very much a rock chick and rock has always been and always will be my favorite genre - I really do enjoy hearing good quality well put together EDM - when doing some of my boring household tasks or when exercising and have to confess that I find it almost impossible to resist when it comes to dancing - as to me its like dance floor rocket fuel.

In fact - much as my favorite choice when choosing EDM is generally anything by Ferry Corsten who I first came across in the late 1990s and who still to this day puts out Trance style tracks that I can only describe as pure electronic wizardry - I have recently started to enjoy many of the tracks from a relatively new artist called Volitilles whose music - although not quite what most would call EDM as its more of a cross between rock and EDM - is extremely motivating.

Some EDM is great and I listen to it regulalry, even though rock is my preferred genre. I really like Swedish House Mafia and Disclosure right now.
