Do you Groupon or LivingSocial ?

Ok recently a friend of mine sent me the link to Groupons.. I hooked up and saw the deals 60, 70% off local event, and purchases. Then I read about LivingSocial and registered with them as well, seeing the similar deals..

I see benefits in many aspects, such as buying gift coupons for friends, family and myself not only in my own city but in others.

Who has used these sites and what good / bad can you advise about them ? what are the gotcha's ?

I get the emails daily for Groupon, but being short on cash, have yet to actually do anything with it. I can't see a down side to it, not in theory anyhow.

The other I've never heard of.

LivingSocial is actually bigger and has way more cities in the US and Canada, including the UK and Australia.. They just got a lot of cash infusion from Amazon.com

Check them out and let me know what you think..

Yah cash is low here as well, but I am thinking some of these things can make great gifts.. They last a long time ( expiry can be a year away )..

I get LivingSocial emails, I'm not sure how I got them in the first place though lol.
