A couple of places here do the buy 1 get 1 free deals. We always try to check them out. One place you can get by with only buying 1 of the bogo's and they will charge you half price.

I do if it's something I'd normally buy, or if it's a better version of something I'd normally get and the BOGOF offer makes it better value overall. I won't buy things just because they're on offer though, it's tempting but you can end up with a trolley full of stuff you never intended to buy if you're not careful!

I find that with a lot of the mergers, we don't get as much of those offers anymore.. It really has to be a good offer for me to BOGO as I tend to leave stuff until its no good in food products or if it other stuff I probably don't need it or but it as Costco in bulk already..

I bogo quite frequently. Especially chicken, pork and boxed goods. Fred, I saw your reduced thread. I buy that way too. It's especially fortunate when what I was planning to make is on UseSoonSale. Or, I'll just change my menu plan ;)

quick tip!
if you shop at kohl's and see a bogo going on one week, wait another week and typically that same item will be on sale for 60% off

I always go for a good BOGO if I see one. I picked up pork tenderloin on a BOGO offer just last weekend and stuck one in the freezer to use later.
