Some believe connections matter more than skills, while others argue talent still leads to success. What has been your experience?

I totally agree, today success is all about how you network and who you network with. With good networking, you get exposed to a lot of opportunities.

I think it's a mix of both these days. If you know someone it'll definitely help get your name out there, but you need to have the talent to back it up as well.

I think both matter, but networking often accelerates opportunities. Talent is essential, but connections open doors, provide mentorship, and amplify visibility. Without relationships, even the most skilled people can struggle to be noticed, while strong networks can help talent shine in ways that might otherwise take years.
