Do Graphics Still Matter in Gaming?

Some of the best games have simple visuals but deep stories. With every company chasing realism, do you think gameplay and art style matter more than graphical power?

While graphics is not the whole thing in gaming, graphics still matter in games. A lot of people like the games that have better graphics.

Absolutely. Some of the most memorable games focus on emotion, storytelling, and creativity rather than flashy graphics. I think gameplay and art style often leave a deeper impression because they shape the atmosphere and player connection. Realism can be stunning, but heart always wins over pixels.

Graphics don't matter as much as Story, gameplay and music to me at least. I know there's lots of gamers who look at graphics, but I think they don't need to be good to make the game good. There's tons of retro games I still enjoy, and some of the graphics in those games didn't age well. Some look amazing for the time they were released.
