Some dogs are friendly and go up to strangers for a pat no the head, others run away. What happens when you walk past a dog, do they bark aggressively or woof in a friendly way?

For me, it is some different kind of experience, when I come across any dog who falls under "stray" kind, it tend to follow me!:(
When I am in front of a pet dog, it tends to like me though.

It is an observation generated over the course of time, so it is true! :D

I have heard many horror stories about how my family members were bitten when they were younger, and dog's teeth always just look so sharp and damaging to me. So I cannot say that I am at all the biggest fan of dogs. I have seen the bites scars that they left on two of my older family members, and do not want the same thing happening to me.

Dogs will sometimes come to me, and other times the won't.

Yes, I guess so.
So far I didn't have any types of "problems" with dogs, they usually just want a little affection from me. :D

Dogs adore me! But they can sense how people feel about them pretty quickly. Crazy playful puppies may not think before acting, which I'm fine with, but I've seen people freak out on their owners for that. You can tell a lot of people are afraid of dogs with all the bad hype media put on them in the past couple decades. Especially certain breeds. I've known of a couple attacks in my time, but through the media, you see so much more and it sticks with a person. Even though the chances are next to nothing they'll get bitten by a passing dog.

Most of them seem to be gentle and kind. Usually a dog will only bark at me if I'm passing the residence, but very rarely if they are being walked by their owner.

Yes...including an Akita bitch guard dog that would bite anyone else approaching her.I sat near her and talked to her for an hour when we first met. She greets me with enthusiasm now,to the astonishment of her owner.

Dogs love me. I have a dog at home and when I go out other dogs bark a bit at first then they let me pet them. I like petting other dogs especially the little cute ones. I think dogs know I am a friendly person and they just naturally like me.

Generally dogs like me; I've owned a number of dogs so I do know how to be around them. Dogs will pick up fear and uncertainty, they are masters of it. They can sense our energy and will capitalize on it.

When dogs past by me they will either be indifferent or wiggle their tail. I have never been in a situation where a dog was aggressive towards me. I am a huge animal lover, volunteered in a shelter before and my mom is a vet. So needless to say I'm very experienced when it comes to handling dogs. I think dogs can feel when people like them, so they will be friendly.
