In Anchorage we had a place called the Bear's Tooth. They made pizza and pub food, and served beer. The place wasn't that fancy though. Round tables and four chairs with a big screen and surround sound. It was fun, and they mostly showed second run movies (2-3 months after they premier in theaters). I didn't go that often, but when I did, it's was fun.

We lived by one when we were first married, it's closed now, but it was a great concept... abeit overpriced. Foodd coulld of been better.

Most of the cinemas feel like this as it what with people in them feeling the need to munch on popcorn and sweets non stop while watching a film in them, anyway. I guess this way at least the'll probably be eating food which is a bit quieter to eat.

Well I actually enjoyed it with the exception of the movie. Apollo 18 sucked IMO. But the food was pretty good and so were the drinks. I had a couple of Caribbean Coolers. Yum! If any of you go to one of these theaters, I recommend ordering your food right away. We ordered just drinks at first and waited on the food a bit so we didn't get it till halfway through the movie. All in all, I liked it and will go again but only to a movie I am sure will be good.

I think I'll pass. The idea sounds cool, but I'm more of an old-fashioned type of movie-goer. Forget the nachos and hotdogs and ten different other foods, just gimme a soda, popcorn, and start the movie
