I'm sitting outside having a beer eating some Mexican food. Weather is absolutely wonderful.....actually, its kind of hot. Glad I'm in the shade.

Where ya at in SoCal?

I used to live in Mission Viejo and I miss it sometimes. I miss Saddleback Mountain. I miss Laguna Beach. I miss seeing Catalina off in the distance. I miss all the hills before they had houses built all over them. I miss seeing the mountains w/snow caps. I miss Big Bear & our cabin at Lake Arrowhead........ Lots has changed in the OC since about 1975....

Enjoy the view :)

I love the weather in SoCal for the most part... but I hate the damn traffic. I wish I could have the weather of SoCal with the traffic and ease of travel of Central Cali.

I miss:

The heat in December.
Joshua Tree National Park.
Food. Oh... the food.

...and what I would not miss for sure is the traffic that I saw on their way to Gamblecity.

I live on the other side of saddleback in Corona. Traffic does suck, but it is the only place I've ever called home.,

i love Socal given it's diverse topography and a half hour to 1 hour drive, one can go from the beach to snowy mountains and desert lands depends on one's preferences to visit. I must say especially during winter time....when one wants to enjoy some snow (activities etc), go up the mountains as was mentioned- Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead( without having to live with snow- just go for a visit/mini vacation/weekend) Same day, if you wanna go to the beach, drive there & one can still enjoy a 70's temp. IF one wants hot summer temp- go to Palm Springs with temp in 80-90's, and yes that's all in winter months ;)

As with the traffic- CHP app ( traffic conditions) and GPS helps with re-routing. Comparing it with Chicago loop traffic. California traffic is nothing compared to that.

You definitely can eat a lot :p

I gotta make you jealous.....we're going to Joshua Tree this weekend. I'll sure visit Hidden Valley for you and take a shot of that 'tree' tease.png

People's republic of Kaliforrnia.

LOVED San Diego, but being in that dang state doesn't make me miss it.

Currently sunny and 70, and very rarely do I have have to deal with traffic other than the times I'm in Charlotte or Raleigh. Perhaps one too many rednecks here, but I've been accused of being one myself..
