Anyone ever do one?

I purchased kit before I came back to camp: Wild Rose 12 day D-Tox. I've read reviews and they seem to be mostly positive and the diet isn't too far from what I normally eat and is easily accessible at camp.

There ARE side effects, I know...so far I feel fine, but it's only day one, from what I've read days 2 - 5 are most difficult.

So...for anyone that's tried one...any pointers? Did you feel better afterwards?

i wouldnt make it past the warm diet pepsi
now the chicken yummy

there is a cheep over the counter easy on your bowls sure way
magnesium citrate
small clear soda like citrus flavored drink really bubbly
it will clean you out
its kind of concentrated so it can be hard drink all of it but
drink the whole bottle all at once
it will not give you the cramps

cleaning out the rest of your system
drink lots of cranberry juice
I have found that grapecranberry is much more tolerable
cleans out your kidneys
then after that lots of fruits and water
tons of water till your pee is cool and clear not phizzy

If you want to cleanse yourself, set aside about six to eight hours. Put a spoonful of Epson Salt in a glass of water, and chug it.

Enjoy. :D

Eating healthy is more effective than detoxing unless you have a specific condition that warrants extreme measures. I work with a lot of athletes and regular gym-goers and they always ask for detox recommendations...bottom line is your body responds better to a well rounded, nutrient rich diet more than anything else. "Detoxing" is a fad. A couple tablespoons of psyllium husk mixed with water everyday will keep you clean and regular. A tablespoon of chia seeds (soaked in water for 3+ hours) won't hurt either. Supplement your regular habits with healthy alternatives if you want but there's no need to eliminate food or OD on diuretics and the like.

Never done this...I'm prone to funky blood sugar plunges and binges when I restrict so I tend to try to eat food lol but it works great for some!

I'd personally stay away from that as well and try to just stick with a healthy diet.

The science on detoxing is pretty unreliable as it is.

I'm eating but it's restricted to whole foods, lean meat and fish. No breads, dairy or processed foods, which really is basically my diet anyway. There's just the supplements for 12 days....I was pissed at supper, the menu called for grilled sole, but it was breaded.:( I cheated and had 1/2 a piece...not a great start, but since I'm not cooking for myself I'm sure I'll have to cheat a bit when it comes to suppers.
