wow lacey you are a GREAT writer!!! So James and Kat are the only people so far right? Or did I miss anything? By the way I love that you used the name SKeet. LOL. Do you know what skeet means? It's a slang term here in the US

Thanks everyone. I'm glad you've all liked the first installment, and look forward to what is to come.
Rereading what I posted I realise there are some things that could have been written better, and I think I should have edited...but, I never ever edit my poetry (my first draft is always what people get to see), and didn't think it would be a good exercise to do in other forms of writing...I was wrong.
James, Kat, Silent, DT, Boomer, Skeet, and JB, were all in the first installment. And of those who have been named as characters thus far, James, Kat, Silent, Boomer, and DT have significant parts throughout the entire story. As does the so far (but soon to be named) unnamed "Sheriff's wife", Amber, and many others who asked to be included, but are yet unseen characters. Including yourself, Clare.
Skeet means a form of trap shooting here...
lol, Amber's baking actually plays a vital part later on in the story. I can use your real life boon of pumpkin bread!

I have the next couple of chapters already written...actually I split what I had written for the first chapter. I didn't want to give too much away of where the story might be headed too early...got to have everyone hanging out for more.
Oh no, he couldn't do that...he does help, Kat out in other ways...later...
