Here's another wacked out theory I have
which completely contradicts everything I've stated about my religious beliefs so far:

What if we are demons and this is our damnation or one step away from it?

I have weird thought processes too darl.

One of mine is that we are like an aliens "Bug catcher" and the whole earth is at the whim of some giant God/alien thing that may choose to squish us.

OR...we are like a universal gaol......or lunatic asylum and the only release is death.

there is way way way too much good and love in this world for this to be even remotley possible in the large scale

now there may be individual cases but on the whole we are just humble humans

If the spirit is your true self, the Earthly experience could very well be a simulation as it would have all of the characteristics of a simulation.

Regarding the OP, demons are part of our psychology, our makeup. I don't think they are external, but internal.

Well if you are basing this on biblical demons, then I would have to disagree.

Demons are angels that chose to follow Lucifer when he rebelled against God. And the bible is very clear in its separation of angels and humans.

I also find it funny how the image of Lucifer/Satan and demons are of some ugly winged creatures, where the bible clearly states that Lucifer and the demons were some of the most beautiful beings ever created by God. Lucifer was an Archangel.

I understand the reasoning behind it...

But ask anyone what a demon looks like and they will get it wrong. If it was on TV, then it has to be true.

In moments of boredom.... to escape the feelings it can cause..... I have sat and thought....What if I am the only 'real' being and those around me are just energy attached to a perspective of what I had planted in my head of what life should look like and be.

Perhaps I was kidnapped at birth..... and placed here.... a test subject..... Just so you all know... I do believe I have aced most of the tests.
