Today I carved a couple of the pumpkins I bought and also started decorating my front yard. It was a blast. After finishing it started snowing too. GRRRRRRRRRRR

cool decor. the apartment I live in is right on the street so no decorating here. No pumpkins either unless they're fake. kids like to smash them. I hate dressing up for Halloween, but i might this year. I always feel like I'm being a party pooper.

I want to figure out how to make a pumpkin head scarecrow and sit it in a chair on the porch. I'll be hopefully doing that this week.

Also that black deal on the ground in front of the headstones in a projector so I have a picture on the side of my house that you see at night.

That was a lot of work to make those pumpkins

Do you have something you do to preserve them because my experience is they only last a few days???

They will be fine if they stay cold. If it gets warm out i'll just put em in a cooler or the fridge. Also if they start to shrink putting them in a tub of water for a few hours helps.

Stuff some old overalls and a old flanel shirt with hay. Then sit it in the chair. Build some kind of platform behind it, that will go right over the body. Them just sit the pumpkin on it.

You might live in just enough of a cooler climate than MI

We put out pumpkins about a week before

Never heard of the tub of water and too lazy to put them in the fridge :D

Tis true..... BurntBlood goes all out too (where the heck did he go?). It's his fav Holiday and he maxes out his yard and himself....

I like to decorate too. Inside is done. Outside will wait because it could still rain and a deluge isn't good for the webbing.... Tho, there's a lady in our neighborhood that has been decked out since the middle of September... She does every single Holiday out there.....

We do the outside for Halloween & Christmas. That's it. Which reminds me, I could change the flags on the front of the house and PBBB's fort. Just cuz it feels like Summer still doesn't mean it is.....
