Participation is getting better and better every month...thanks, guys!!! So let's keep it up!!! I figure this is a good way to encourage each other to get our exercise in. So the way this works is that you set a goal for minutes of exercise for the month and then *gasp* you try to meet it.

The way we do it on the weight loss forum is that you just make 1 post and you edit it to update throughout the month. HOWEVER, once so much time has passed on this forum you are not able to edit your post unless you're a moderator. So if you will just make a new post once you're no longer able to edit, I will merge the posts for you to make it one post. ;) Please do not quote your previous post in your additional posts as it creates a lot more work than what is necessary just to merge them. ;)

Kick it in gear, folks...time to get exercising!!! Marathon shopping for Christmas??? Make a few laps around the mall and call it your exercise for the day!!! Hanging wreaths outside your house??? Do a couple of curls w/ the wreaths before putting them up. Decorating your tree??? Turn on the music and dance while doing so!!! If nothing else, you can find 15 - 30 minutes per day to take a walk...all it takes is getting up a few minutes earlier.

Let's get moving!!!

Because of all the festivities this month I'm going to stick w/ my 2000 minute goal. Next month I'm going to try to bump it up to 2400. EEK!!!

Goal: 2000 minutes
Total: 2010 minutes

1 - 30 minutes at the gym (afternoon) + 70 minutes at the gym (morning)
2 - Rest Day.
3 - 35 minutes walking in my neighborhood + 95 minutes at the gym (morning)
4 - 60 minutes cleaning house + 10 minutes walking from terminal to gate and vice versa

5 - 120 minutes loading the Uhaul + 20 minutes walking to and from command post to rally point
6 - 30 minutes at the gym (afternoon)
7 - 30 minutes at the gym (afternoon) + 70 minutes at the gym (morning)
8 - 40 minutes walking in my neighborhood + 70 minutes at the gym (morning)
9 - 60 minutes walking through Downtown Covington
10 - 60 minutes walking in my neighborhood + 70 minutes at the gym (morning)
11 - Rest Day.

12 - Rest Day.
13 - 30 minutes at the gym (afternoon) + 70 minutes at the gym (morning)
14 - 50 minutes DanceFit class
15 - 45 minutes walking in my neighborhood + 30 minutes at the gym (afternoon) + 5 minutes marching in place while brushing my teeth (LMFAO...hey, it keeps the heart-rate up, right???) + 70 minutes at the gym (morning)
16 - 55 minutes walking in my neighborhood + 5 minutes marching in place while brushing my teeth + 70 minutes at the gym
17 - 30 minutes at the gym (afternoon) + 5 minutes marching in place while brushing my teeth
18 - 5 minutes marching in place while brushing my teeth

19 - 5 minutes marching in place while brushing my teeth
20 - 30 minutes at the gym (afternoon) + 5 minutes marching in place while brushing my teeth + 45 minutes Street Heat workout

Hmm.. I have a half marathon in this month and then training for the one on Robins Air Force Base in January... so I'm gonna bump mine up to 2,000 minutes. Tasha, don't forget about your 5k :D

GOAL: 2,000
TOTAL: 1754

1- 20 minute dog walks + 30 minute packing
2- 20 minute dog walk... and then nothing....
3- rest day + 20 minute dog walk
4- HALF MARATHON DAY! 194 minutes + 120 minutes moving/packing +20 minute dog walks
5- 120 minutes packing+ 20 minute dog walk
6- 120 minutes unpacking moving truck/storage unit
7- 60 minutes Christmas shopping + 30 minutes at the gym (afternoon) + 70 minutes at the gym (morning)
8 - 70 minutes at the gym (morning)
9 - 60 minutes walking through Downtown Covington
10- 70 minutes gym
11- 60 minutes chasing after V at the stores
12- rest
13- 30 minutes gym

15- 60 minutes chasing after V (she sure does move fast!)

OK, I'm going to leave my goal at 300 minutes. That means I can miss the entire last week of December if I am faithful the rest of the month. :D

Yeah, I'm done for the month. I thought I might get in a workout this morning but that required getting out of bed at 6am so...no. :ninja Can't go tomorrow and Friday the place is closed.
