The issue of Wikileaks has become one of the biggest issues over the last year. People that support what Wikileaks is doing say that there shouldn't be any secrets that the governments of the world keep from their people. They also state that some very important things have come about because of this information being disseminated to the public at large. Those in opposition state that Wikileaks has done far more harm than good in releasing the information that they have. They've put lives at risk, in the intelligence community as well as the military. As such some believe that everything should be done to prevent them from releasing any additional information.
Is what Wikileaks doing good for society as a whole?
There will be three rounds, the first two will be limited to 350 words each, and the third round will allow 400 words. There will be no editing of your post allowed, unless it is approved by me, and only before your opponent has their chance to respond. You will have 24 hours from the conclusion of each post in order to post your response.
I would request that nobody, other than the participants, post in this thread until the conclusion of the debate.
