Anyone else a David Sanborn fan? He's a great jazz saxophonist and his new album Here and Gone's coming out August 12th. I've been hearing some of his music through a friend at my UMGD internship lately and it's some good, chill jazz, plus he's collaborating with Eric Clapton and Joss Stone on two tracks each, should be interesting. If you're not familiar with his music you can listen to to some over here, let me know what you think of it. Later guys

I was a huge fan of David Bowie. That was where I first heard Sanborn.

Really liked his stuff with Bowie. It was quite distinctive

what made you not listen to Bowie?

I probably should have stated it differently

I was and am still a huge fan of the earlier Bowie

The new music not so much but I still like most of it.

The earlier stuff though was the bomb. I am a big time fan of his stuff up until after his collaborations with Iggy Pop

Probably the best concert i saw was Bowie as the Thin White Duke. It was like a Vegas Show and reminded me of a modern day Sinatra.

anyway I really liked Sanborns sax on those albums with Bowie which was the original point i tried to make
