haha OMG, I almost just burst out laughing at this guy though. It cracked me up.
I was up at a Scotts grocery store (NE indiana local chain that just sold out to Kroger) trying to fix their check out lane intercom phones that weren't working.
I was inside the little office that's always locked because that's where the safe is and where they count their cash drawers right.
Well there's a time clock in the hallway right by the door. I opened the door to get the General Managers attention and this guy turns around from the time clock and goes "Thats not your area, you need to come with me"
I looked at him and asked... I'm sorry?
He says "you don't belong in there, you're not authorized come with me." Then he asked me who I was, and I said I worked for *my last name* Telephone Services, and that yes I am authorized to be in here.
I just laughed and said ok to his order after that, but didn't move. He said something else and I just ignored him as I asked the lady who was counting the money to get one of the checkout people to page for me so I could test.
After the test, I asked the lady in the room who that guy was and she was like "I dunno, they've been having employees from other stores come in to rearrange the aisles." LOL! Some douche from another store! hahahaha
After I stopped laughing, I told the lady her amplifier for the paging system was dead and we'll have to order a new one, as I walked out of the room the guy was nowhere to be found. haha
The entire time I was laughing to myself because this normal scott's employee who had NO IDEA why I was there, let alone had any authority to boss me around, was trying to give me orders. :24:
