Got to get a draw tomorrow to qualify for Euro 08. Come on England. Not too confident myself to be honest seeing what a clueless dick McClaren is but come on England!!!

No Clue No Passion and no European Championship appearance next year.

Have to say that apart fro Beckham and Crouch there wasnt a decent performance from any of the so called superstars . Good to see the former English players being honest about the situation and admit people were bad.

Yep sure is.None of the 5 home nations in the European Championships though you have to feel for Scotland and Northern Ireland coming so close.

How terrible was that! McClaren has got to go. He even pissed off straight down the tunnel at the end instead of trying to console his players, how can he possibly earn his players respect after that? If was a poor performance all round though in a game where they really had to be up to it. Words fail me about Bridges performance. Carson was useless but why did McClaren wait for a game of this magnitude to give another goalkeeper his first chance? All round pissed off! Green has got to be given a chance in the very next England match by whoever is in charge for that, simply because he has to be the ONLY option!:mad

Personally I dont think its fair blaming Mc Claren. He took a brave decision in his starting selection and when it didnt work he changed things, plus there were at least 5 or 6 first choice players missing thru injury/suspension. The mostb ninteresting thing was how once again those two worthless and over rated primadonnas of Gerrard and Lampard both went missing when the chips were down and big performances were needed. As for Carson in the 2nd half he did keep England in it when the game could have been over before the equaliser.

I don't see any sense or point to just sticking one big man up front and getting people to hoof the ball up to him. McClaren is gutless too. It's pretty much been proved time and again that Gerrard and Lampard just can't play together but he's too gutless to drop one of them because the're such big names. I agree though that the players were at fault for putting up a poor performance in the game they most had to rise to the occasion!

I personally think that Gerrard and Lampard need to be dropped from a few squads and give some other players a chance.Neither of them tracked back properly and helped their defence. At least Beckham gave 100% and tried to cover his side of the park.Mc Claren walking down the tunnel is perfectly understandable though. He probably felt like slapping a few heads together. Also cant blame him as those players out there have probably cost him his job too.

Well McClaren was sacked this morning, good riddance, he didn't even have the grace to resign after the game! Wonder who we'll get next, I'd like to see Mourinho get the job, I hated him at Chelsea but I think he'd be perfect to get some pride out of their game from the players. Can't believe Shearer is actually being banded about by some media for the job, wtf does he know about managing?

Mourinho may get them playing with passion but they would be playing very unattractive football.
Think keane hit things on the head when he said there were too many players with big egos in the squad. They seem to think they have a place in the starting line up by right.
I think Mc Claren never really had a chance in the job, being a compromised candidate from the start.
