Creating a brochure online

I have been trying to create a brochure for my business. I have training in visual art, yet haven't found a suitable template or software to make my brochure. Does anyone know of a program that works well for this application?

Depends how complex you want the brochure to be, whether you have to prepare it for print etc.

I'm a designer by trade, and generally we'd use InDesign or QuarkXpress for this job, with any extra graphical touches done in Illustrator and pulled into the InDesign document. We can then produce a print-ready PDF to send to the printers.

They're all pro-level software, and damn expensive because of it.

If you don't have to send it to a printers, you could easily produce the brochure in PowerPoint, or the OpenOffice equivalent. I've seen pretty reasonable layouts done with these. They're limited, but with enough effort the results can be ok

If you're on a Mac, buy iWork (a snip at 79$) which gives you Pages, a near pro-level wordprocessing and design app. Pretty cool.

I do want to print. Can't afford prof level software. Those online printers don't have anything I want. *sigh*

use open office then, it's free.

InDesign is a nifty piece of software if you could afford it, judging by your posts, it is unlikely you would want to get it

One thing Ed hasn't touched on, InDesign can produce excellent flash animation

Wish I could afford some decent software. I LURV GD, but am stuck in the dark ages.

I think you must go with mybrochuremaker and pres smart in order to makeonline brochure. If you want to design templates like Joomla Templates then I think you must go with adobe and Dreamweaver.
