I'm glad they scrambled the CAC (Combat Alert Cell) and escorted those aircraft. I'd have hated for the crew to have dismissed it as people just screwing in the head. Not that I think this should be a normal course of action for everyone who visits the crapper more than once, but for Sept 11th, I imagine it made quite a few people feel at ease on a tough day.

How does anyone on public airplanes actually even join the club? When I've been on a plane, the loos are so small that you have trouble squeezing one person into them and they always have a flight attendand sitting two feet away from the door.

I'm w/ Darrell on this one...glad it was taken seriously even if it DID end up being a big nothing. As for the other incident listed, I'm curious about the supposed "hand signals" that others suggested were going on. If nothing else, I would imagine being on an airplane on the 10th anniversary and seeing something shady would probably bump the pucker factor up to a 10.

That's the point Peter, it's difficult and there's an element of risk that adds to the excitement ;)
