Coupla bugs for skyblue

These aren't macro by any means but still interesting non the less. Most were hand held taken with my 100 - 400mm IS. I gotta get me that Tamron.

Spider taken in the early AM.

One of my favorite bee shots. Loks a hell of a lot better before being resized so RR can see them. ( I think I posted this before in my own thread. ) I've got it framed and hanging on my wall.

Another bee sucking up some nectar. Kinda neat against the pink flower.

Spider waiting for it's meal

I thought this was interesting. The moth blended in with the white stucco it had plastered itself to. This was taken with a cheap Canon P & S quite a few years ago.

Thanks... Spiders are kinda one of my favs in the bug world. I want to get me a Preying Mantis shot but I don't think we have any here. Got any around you place?

1. Resizing does matter can mean you are making it easier for me (dial up prisoner) to view your wonderful pictures.

or....

First two are my favorites, and the best out the lot in my opinion. Agree with skyblue, you got the bee at the perfect moment! These may not be taken with a macro lens, but they are macro shots, and are a lot better than a lot of macro photography I have seen. Well done, and keep up the good work man.
