Journaling helps process depression by clarifying emotions. Write daily, even briefly, about feelings or gratitude. It’s a safe space to reflect. Pair it with therapy or exercise for deeper healing. Your thoughts matter, let them flow.
Does journaling help your mental health? What do you write about?

Writing your thoughts certainly helps. I have done this in the past. But these days I don't journal my thoughts, I try to engage in various activities

Journaling can be a powerful tool for coping with depression. It allows you to express and process emotions, which can reduce mental clutter and provide clarity. Writing about your thoughts and experiences can help identify triggers and patterns in your mood. Journaling also promotes self-reflection, fostering a better understanding of your emotions. Gratitude journaling, where you write about things you're thankful for, can help shift focus from negative thoughts to positive ones, improving overall mental well-being.
