to be precise, lambs liver,,,,pigs liver is too tough and stringy

all you need is 1 onion
a few largish mushrooms and some gravy

chop the oinions and halve the mushrooms....fry in a deep frying pan, when cooked place in a dish

chop the liver into bite sized pieces and fry in the pan until cooked...at this point re-add the mushrooms and onion....fry until hot

now make some gravy(instant gravy where you just add water will be ok)

simply pour the gravy over the liver, onion and mushrooms....simmer till boiling

serve in dishes with ample amounts of crusty bread for dipping into the gravy

its simple to cook, tasty and only takes about 10 minutes...enjoy:thumbup

I can't stand liver...my mom made me eat it as a kid and frankly there is not enuf ketchup in the world to eat it...the texture the smell, the taste. Thanx I'd rather take a bottle of vitamins.

I'll take the cooked onions though ;)

My dad *loves* liver and he's barely in his 40s!

I've never tried it, and don't think I will. Although, I bet it's delish with some fava beans and a nice chianti.
