Poetry contest voting poll, choose your favorite sonnet! (I ended the contest early because I decided the theme was stupid and just wanted to get it over with so we could start over again ;) :D)

Poem 1
Keep trying from within thats motivation
Never trying from the beginning thats defeat
Pick yourself up at the worst times, avoid humiliation
Get walked on and stay low? then dont bother to think

One man's opinion cant compare to yours
Follow your gut with no regret
No one knows the pain your brain endures
Its ok to forgive but it doesnt mean you must forget

"Your opinion is valid and you make a difference"
Its something I'm constantly repeating inside me
And I will succeed as God as my witness
But only my insight inside to guide me.

When darkness surrounds you just expose your feelings
The truth from inside you will expel all your demons

Poem 2

The sun shone upon your face
Smiling eyes through the pain
Gladly I would take your place
Words fall hard said in vain

Taking your hand in my own
I feel you start to pull away
Your greatest fear me alone
You must go and here I must stay

Turning now to quickly leave
Holding back I watch you go
The truth we cannot deceive
Tears freed unendingly flow

Understanding and acceptance take hold
Suddenly alone and feeling the cold

Poem 3
The derelict sits next to you, silently farting
Something you know involves dumpster chicken
In such sweet sorrow his dinner is parting
And it's his ass it's a-kickin'

Involuntarily, you wretch and gag
While your eyes are tearing up
And you start puking in a bag
That won't hold all your throw-up

That is one nasty mofo
You think to yourself
Someone should call the popo
And put his ass up on a shelf

You reach in your pocket,
Pull out a tums, and tell him to pop it

Poem 4

You will fear it, fight it, and you hide it
But it will creep, find its way, search, ensue
It will not stop, never rest, time won’t quit
It will continue on, always find you

Chilly, dark, the unforgivable curse
Nothing can hide, disguise, none can elude
To defy is useless, life will be worse
To win would mean to be left alone, crude

You all dwell, fear, and plead deep down inside
Try, dodge your curse, push it down, find away
Those immorals won’t continue to hide
They will be open, clear, on judgment day

You can not fight that moment of last breath
For there is nothing to hide you from death

Grand prize this round is 5'000 (I'm throwing in an extra thousand)
