It is getting to a point where cars are computerised that they are driving and parking themselves. Would you buy them if they become readily available? Or would you keep your self-driven cars?

I would want to have a computer driven car, so long as I can switch to manual whenever I feel bored

Personally, the self-parking feature only shows the lack of skills our modern day drivers have. It used to be a part of the driving exam to parallel park your car. Gonna brag on myself a bit, but, I can do that with a big rig!
I have a 2000 GMC pickup. It's about as computerized as I care to have 'em. I want to still DRIVE the damn thing. Some features have come out on high level autos. Radar that warns you when you're too close to another object will help a driver avoid crashes in low visibility conditions, but, I can do without. Slow the hell down is what I do.
We're just getting too lazy is all.

It is part of our driving exams, but I suppose with America having so much space, parking isn't a problem. I would love to make it mandatory on some drivers, mainly stupid, drinkers and druggies that they drive only by computerised cars that can drive and park without the need for a driver.

I'd love to have it as a feature I could turn on or turn off. I'd also love to be able to switch from automatic transmission to a truly manual transmission. Driving a stick is fun sometimes.
