This album is pretty good. Viva la Vida is a pretty good song. I miss the U2 that dissapeared after Rattle and Hum, and this album is reminiscent of it. All in all, I give it and 8/10.

rush of blood to the head was an amazing album, and i enjoyed parachutes.

x&y was horrible and if viva la vida is their best song, it's not worth my $10

That was my criticism of their previous stuff, especially X & Y which was a horrible album lol

I'm still not sure I'll get this though, because I gave X & Y a chance even after I didn't like Rush of blood, so they've stretched my trust.

I've seen them live at two festivals and left both times after a few songs. Utterly boring, and that Chris Martin really knows how to push all the right buttons. I read something about Nick Clegg (leader of the Liberal Democrats) saying the last gig he went to was Coldplay. That tells you all you need to know about Coldplay.
