Mauricio says it's all about the unique experience... starting with premium ice cream that's made every day in small batches. Then every customer can customize his or her own Creation in the size they want -- and in their choice of cup, a variety of cones, or take-home tub.

The stone in Cold Stone Creamery is a quality piece of granite on a refrigeration system. It keeps the ice cream cold as the mix-ins are being worked into it. This keeps the ice cream from becoming soupy. It's especially good if you plan to take some home -- because ice cream that's melted will freeze hard.

Mauricio says girls like the Cake Batter Ice Cream with sprinkles, caramel, and chocolate. Guys like the Sweet Cream Ice Cream with Brownies, Caramel, and Fudge.

I go there with my daughter once a month or so, but you're so right about the prices. I could buy 3 half gallons at Safeway for the price of one serving at Cold Stone!

yeah prices are high , but its really good and its nice to have every once in awhile. Plus my daughter gets a kick out of watching them mix the stuff in the icecream lol

nope we dont have one of those either we use to have a Baskin Robbins but that went out of business

maybe a dairy queen, but the rest are local ice cream shops, which can still kick ass none the less, since for the most part, the make all the ice cream there with fresh fruit or whatever is around
