i agree with always wearing your seatbelt. i ALWAYS wear mine.
but one time i got a speeding ticket and went to traffic school. there was a girl there who actually had her life saved because she DID NOT have her seatbelt on. her car flipped and she was ejected out the window. the police and paramedics were saying that the car was so completely effed up that if she had not been ejected, she would have been dead. but this scenario is like 1 in 10 billion.

I drive a vehicle semi-regularly that isn't equipped with seat belts. It feels strange getting into a car and not putting one on.

I know a lot of people who refuse to wear them, including my grandfather. That made me so mad when I was a little boy.

Me too. I even put it on when I just go sit and wait in a car. ... Just habit.

When my little brother and I were small, we used to rebel against it, but then one morning my mom got tired of it, and went on a small break-checking spree. Scared the life out of both of us, and ever since, we've always buckled up for safety!! :lol

It is a second nature thats for sure.. and i make EVERYONE in my car wear them as well

I always wear mine...although I kinda don't always wear it if I'm just driving through the neighborhoods to get to the store. My bad?

Definatly your bad. My dad was involved in a head on smash with a combined speed of about 90mph. The seatbelt cracked his sternum, but if he hadn't been wearing it he wouldn't have come home!!

It's second nature for us. And we also ALWAYS put our son in his carseat (In SA there is no law stating that you must have small children in carseats).

We've told our little guy the car can not move if the seatbelts aren't on
