If you ever started how did you quit? I've been smoking for almost 2 years and going to try to quit. I've have gone for a week or more in the past without a smoke, but I smoke more often now than I use to and it's not as easy to say no to cigerette.

Re: Cigerettes...

I have a friend who bought sugar free candy and sucked one every time he wanted a smoke. Me personally, I never could smoke, it smells so yucky.

Re: Cigerettes...

Sorry, but it's cigarette, not cigerette. Just so ya know!

It's really easy, just don't buy any cigarettes, and you can't smoke any cigarettes. You have the will power to, just don't let your mind think otherwise and let you give in and start puffing again.

Re: Cigerettes...

I started when I was 15, smoked off an on ever since. I quit for a year once, after using Chantix.

I can quit... but right now I don't wanna.

It's a disgusting habit really... I always have to have gum or a mint while I'm smoking, and I always wash the smell off my hands after.

Re: Cigerettes...

I started the night of my 18th birthday party haha.

I can quit also but like Satin said I just don't want to. It is a nasty habit, but I generally smoke when I drink. I don't smoke all the time otherwise.

PLEASE stop that, it 's been proven to massively increase your chances of getting cancer.

Re: Cigerettes...

Really? How so?

Yeah, I read or heard it on the news a long time ago. I'll find something that will explain it better, but basically - when you chew the gum while smoking, the nicotine particles stick to the gum, and rub against your mouth. Which then, in time can cause mouth cancer.

Re: Cigerettes...

I think it's more of the habit of having something to do with my hands and not letting them be idle. *ducks all the jokes i'm about to get from that statement*

The real kicker is trying not to smoke when I'm out at a bar or when I'm around other smokers.

Woops! you're right. Cigarette*

Re: Cigerettes...

Personally I like smoking, I get enough sex and couldn't give a shit if I die young instead of pissing my pants literally aged 90 in an OAP home. If you want to give up though, I'd reccomend inhalers. :thumbup;)
