Burlesque star and singing legend Cher is bemused after being mistaken for Dead Or Alive singer Pete Burns while shopping in Harrods.

'Who is this guy?' Cher, 64, reportedly asked her PA.

'Is he famous? It's happening a lot.'

Former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Pete, 51, has had multiple plastic surgery operations over the years and it's not a good result.

But with his long black hair and full lips, there could be a slight resemblance.

And if the newest Cher on the block, 17-year-old X Factor rapper Cher Lloyd, doesn't stop pulling those faces, she could be the next celebrity mistaken for eccentric Pete.
