cat question.

for you cat people. I have 2 male cats, they are brothers fromt he same litter, but couldn't be more different...they are 3 years old, and one of them is more..."manly" i guess...he loves to play with the dog, he even will lick you like he is a dog...he's pretty brave and clever too. The other one, is like mommy's little prince(ss). He has long pretty fur and he waves his tail around like a feather boa. He is HUGE and really fat, but you would think he doesn't know it...he is THE biggest scaredy cat EVER...he HATES the dog and constantly hisses at him. Despite them being so different, the cats always love on each other and play with each other. Yesterday, I noticed they werent sitting together and i tried to put Fergie over by Hobbes, but he didn't want anything to do with him...they were hissing and batting at each other..they've done this before just playing, but I knew somethign was up when later I STILL couldn't get them to "talk to" each other...Now Hobbes is hiding...this is the next day...this seems sooo weird. They never stay mad at each other for more than like 30 mins...what do i do>??!

They're cats, they'll pick and choose when they want to associate with each other when they feel the necessity to. Just let em be.

Last time I got into the middle of two really pissed off cats, ours put his teeth into my wrist, completely in. Good thing he was declawed, because my arm would have been torn to shreds if he wasn't.

You don't understand, Clare is the adult Elmira. She has to fuck with her animals at all times and try and change their natural habits. She wants to play dress up with Kodi and I won't let her.

oh i can handle my cats. but it just makes me sad that they arent getting along, what if they never make up? i think hobbes is jealous that fergie hangs out with the dog...and hobbes is racist against kodi because hes a dog.

its boudn to happen sometimes clare...unfortunetly theres not much you can do about it...i had 2 cats together since they were about 1 month old...and they loved each other till they were about 7 years old then all of a sudden started hating each other and hissing all the time...

only time they were good together after that is when i gave them treats at the same time theyd sit there eating them together then clean each other off then go back to hating eachother again later on.
