Okay.
So..at the beginning of the year...ish...I bought this camera. I've been really hesitant to take pictures with it. Well, mostly because I have no clue how to work about 90% of what it's capable of doing.

Reading the Tips and Tricks thread and I see you talking about changing the ISO and what not, and I see the dial for that on my camera, but I don't know what setting my camera has to be in to do that. That's the first in a long list of things I don't know about my camera.

Anyone a canon veteran that can teach a newbie her way around the camera?

ISO is just light sensitivity, on film cameras it just means film speed

There are going to be places where there is little light and where you are not able to use your flash, therefore you have to increase the ISO

To understand exposure, you have to understand the relationship with ISO, the aperture and shutter speed
