Constant exposure to curated lifestyles, trends, and comparisons can affect self-esteem and mood. Do digital detoxes effectively restore mental balance, or are they temporary fixes? How should users manage engagement with social platforms to maintain emotional health?

That's right social medial detoxes or usage can effectively improve mental health, sleep and other well-being metrics. Reducing screen time to improve overall attention spans.

If you are using social media for hours just by scrolling feed, getting away form social sites can certainly help with your mental and emotional health.

I think a social media detox can help. I’ve taken short breaks a few times, and it felt refreshing. The constant pressure to keep up with everyone and everything can get overwhelming. Stepping away gives space to focus on real conversations, hobbies, and actual rest. It doesn’t solve every problem, but even a few days away makes my mind feel lighter and less distracted.
