Many people doubt the success of long-distance relationships. Have you ever been in one? What challenges did you face, and how did you maintain emotional closeness? Do you think distance strengthens or weakens love?

Yes it works everything depends on the people involved. The lines of communication should be open and try not to cheat on another

How would a person not cheat when he or she is horny, and it would take his or her partner months to come soothe that. Long distance relationships is people deceiving themselves.

Yes long distance relationships can work, but the major problem here, or should i say the best question to ask is if both partners are actually willing to make the sacrifice to make it work.

I’ve never been in a long-distance relationship, but I’ve seen some work and others fall apart. It seems to depend on trust, communication, and a shared future plan. Without those, distance can create emotional gaps. But with effort and commitment, some couples make it work for years.

The distance between my partner and me compelled us to put in additional work so we could stay emotionally close throughout. To succeed in such relationships, the foundations of regular contact and you should trust each other.

I was in a long distance relationship for around 2 1/2 years. Although it eventually ended, I do not regret it. Because we didn't have much time together, the time we did spend together was great. We didn't fight over stupid little things and, if I'm being candid, there was a loooooooooooot of very hot sex. The distance wasn't what ended it, though. We were on different pages (I wanted more than he did), so I decided to move on. Still don't regret it, though, and my relationship right after was the man that is now my husband.

Long distance relationship would not work for me personally. I don't feel that deep affection for someone that I don't get to see. You must be physically present for my heart to really open up to you. Distance is a devil to me as far as relationships are concerned.

I think long-distance relationships can work if both partners are committed, trust each other, and communicate openly. Regular visits, shared goals, and patience are key, but it requires effort from both sides to thrive.

Looks like it did not work for you. :D
I feel that for a relationship to work, you need to be physically together. Long distance relationship is basically talking, your relationship does not survive with just words, you need physical comfort from your partner as well.
