Since years I have not used my computer; recently I tired to put it on……it didn’t responded. Do you think it can be repaired? I got a laptop as a gift so I stopped using the PC.

at least it's old. you might be able to find new better parts relatively cheap. nice thing about PCs over laptops is the parts are a bit easier to replace. hell, you can do a lot of stuff yourself like putting in more RAM.

not turning on is pretty tough. assuming it's plugged in properly, i don't know what to tell you. maybe tegan will stop by.

If no noise comes out of it at all its more than likely a power source problem. First check that the power cord is pluged into the wall and the back of the computer snugly. If that seems to all be good and you are not great with computers I would recomend taking it to some body. Its more than likely the power supply, allthough it could possible be either a bad power switch or the motherboard is dead.

If it does make some sort of noise when you atempt to power it up it could be multiple things. Realy need a discription of what noises it does make in order to narrow it down further.
