Omega-3s, vitamin D, probiotics, and structured physical activity are increasingly studied as adjuncts for depression, anxiety, and ADHD. How effective are these interventions compared to traditional therapy or medication? Which combinations provide measurable improvement in mood, focus, or sleep?

I cannot say about teens but for adults diet, supplements complement mental health treatments. So, I guess it might also work for teens as well.

A balanced diet, regular exercise, and certain supplements can support mental health alongside professional treatments. Proper nutrition stabilizes mood, exercise releases endorphins, and supplements like omega-3s or vitamin D may improve brain function. These should complement therapy or medication, not replace them.
