Nope... never heard of it... what is the just (or basis) of the movie...?

From what I can figure... I'm assuming it has something to do with a virus... similar to "Cabin Fever"

I read the spoiler and thought "Man I have to see this". Started to pick it up this weekend but I'm home alone and gonna wait for my wife and daughter. Otherwise it gets rented twice.

Wasn't it different? I don't like blood and guts but this kept my attention all the way and I don't want to be a spoiler and say to much but
I was rooting for the "unexpected" hero
, you know what I mean?

I thought it was a bit slow at the beginning.
As the action picked up,
it looked like a sick government experiment.
The elevator ride changed that and it was amusing as to why the stoner was immune.
Yeah....clever how he became the 'unexpected hero'.

But....if the group 'chose how they were to die' in the basement, how'd that fit in with the Japanese classroom scenario? The kids won like it was expected but not wanted.
Too much film editing? Or I miss something?

So......wonder what they'll do for a sequel with 'the hand' already out of the box, so to say?

I don't think they can do a sequel unless
they make that one of the other countries dream sequence.....that may work......, but yeah the other countries scenarios seemed kind of dopey, didn't make sense given what ours was.....

I started watching it last night, but was too tired. I'm going to finish tonight, but from what I did see it's a little twisted, but not great. My mind could change depending on how the rest goes. I watched just over half of it.

I edited the posts, but guys, PLEASE use the spoiler tags. It's [*spoiler]stuff people don't need to know goes here[/*spoiler] removing the *s, of course. Then anybody who wants to read it can just highlight it and those of us who don't want to read it, don't have to.

Ok, I'm glad I finished it. It did get a lot better. I liked the twist to the movie and I liked the ending.

Going along the lines of college students vacationing at a cabin in the woods.......
Any Evil Dead/Evil Dead II fans?
I enjoyed both and the followup, Army of Darkness was a winner, too...imo.
