A marine, who has a wife and two little girls, leaves to afghanistan. They crash and the marines thinks there is no survivors. So his family has a funeral, etc. Over the months following, while he is being held by Afghani's, his wife starts falling in love with his brother, and at one point they kiss. Eventually, he is found by the Americans, but comes home to find that his brother has in away, started talking his place.

It's really sad but amazingly done and completely and totally original. I really loved it, and it isn't what you expect at all. :thumbup

I so wanna see it. Toby Maguire rocks.

I know, totally 600% of why I went to see it was because of him, and he didn't fail the role, not for a split second.

It was kind of awkward though, I kept thinking of him as spiderman... lol but you can quickly distinguish the two. I just can't get over how well he did by switching personalities from the beginning of the movie, to later on after he was a veteran. He is such an amazing actor.

Finally saw it last night...had been wanting to see it since I first saw the previews. But I have to say it wasn't as good as I expected it to be. I think they spent too much time focusing on his time in captivity and too little time focusing on the family's reactions to finding out he was still alive.

I saw this movie, but didn't like the ending. Toby Maguire impressed me with his performance. It was nice seeing him play a more serious role for a change. But, out of 10, I'd probably rate it a 7/10.
