Have any of you noticed British terms creeping into the American language? What ones and which do you like or hate? I think my pet hate with Americanisms is the word "movies" instead of films, its not even just kids using it, it's constantly used on telly and not just amongst slang talking people but well spoken presenters too.

Get over it Peter. I always have to think what the h*ll Joe means when he says to get a "pan of bread" at the store. Oh, you mean a loaf..... :)

honestly I hear constant put downs of Americans and hardly any flack back
but every time I hear a put down back at them they get mauled
