They are actually saying this will SAVE the program. Cutting it will save it? I got a phone call two days ago telling me about this but there has been NO news coverage except within the few days prior to the IL House and Senate overwhelmingly passing and the Governor singing it into law. Take it in the shorts AGAIN you poor and elderly people. It's shameful and criminal, IMO. Why do they always have to balance the budget on the backs of the people who can lease afford cuts in their income or health care. Sigh. Hmmmmm maybe I should have posted this in "politics" topic?
