I thought we'd never end
if we did the best we can
I guess I can't always be right​

but I'm looking for the reason
we didn't last a season
I won't go down with out fight​

because the words that you've said
are like bullets to my head
our memories lying dead on the floor​

I tell myself the past is just practice
as I toss and turn on my mattress
I don't want to think anymore​
