Bond 22 is the working title of a future EON Productions' James Bond film, the sequel to the 2006 film Casino Royale, which rebooted the Bond franchise. Daniel Craig will reprise the role of James Bond, and Marc Forster will direct. Screenwriters Paul Haggis, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade returned for the film. Bond 22 was originally scheduled for a 2 May 2008 release, but was pushed back to 7 November 2008 to allow more time to complete the film.

Paul Haggis stated that the film will pick up two minutes after Casino Royale, when a wounded Mr. White is confronted by Bond. Daniel Craig noted that the filmmakers have "set up the idea now that there's an organisation out there that needs to be sorted out, and [that Bond has] got a sense of revenge." Eva Green also added that the audience will "understand what's going on in [Vesper Lynd]'s mind." The Algerian boyfriend will be one of the antagonists in the film.

I'm so excited, I can't wait! As most of you saw last year, I was very skeptical about Daniel Craig taking over as the new Bond, but after seeing Casino Royale, I loved him in that movie. Can't wait for next year's Bond film. Althought it is sad to see we won't get one this year.

I think Daniel Craig is a great Bond. He's actually a lot more like what Ian Flemming intended Bond to be like than the previous actors who played him!
