Black sky’s fade to blue as it awaits the new day
Twinkles of stars blend away to welcome the suns ray’s
As natures pilots take there morning flight
Nocturnal insects return home for there is no more night

The peaceful sounds that come with night fall
Are all to soon replaced by sounds of traffics call
Yet here I am with out a ounce of sleep
Stuck in memories all to painful and deep

Why was I the one chosen to live
While her life was appointed to give
They say it was not my fault
It was the man who refused to halt

Still I saw him approaching that light
He was right in my line of sight
If only my reactions had been a bit more fast
I wouldn’t be regretting my decisions in the past

The impact took her life in a split second
I would of rather it been me though I recon
Then maybe I wouldn’t be sitting here
Wondering what I could of done better out there

I’m tired yet unable to sleep
So ill just lie here until I amble not to weep
Just next month she was to be my wife
But he was driving under the influence causing her to lose her life

I would love to say yes , as sad as that may seem, because it would bring some much more emotion to my writing, truth is its not true, its just ficttional writing, odly enough I can find my best writing cause when im in my darkest thoughts of imagination. I was in drama, and love acting, and either happy or sad some of my pieces come from thinking depressiong thoughts, thers just so much more emotion

I was actually not able to sleep last night/this morning stepped out for a ciggerate and noticd the blue skys coming in and heard the birds...and wrote the first stanaz...rest is purley fictional!

to be honest i make up crap for writing all the time. most of my writing is pretty much off the top of my head with no actual emotional support...=P
