This is just a general thread about Biloxi, Mississippi
Just some history, pictures, and answers to questions anyone may have.
The movie "Biloxi Blues" was not filmed in Biloxi.
Biloxi is pronounced "BUH-LUXXY" not "BILL-LOXXY"
Here is beach 5 blocks from where I grew up.

I was in Biloxi from Dec 01 until Apr 02, and then again in 2006 for some training.

I had a lot more fun in that town than I ever thought I would have in Mississippi, period. :p

12 miles south from the beach of Biloxi is Ship Island where Fort Massachusetts is located

there are tons of sea life out here
fish sharks crabs stingrays dolphins horseshoe crabs and the list goes on
this fort is usually surrounded by sand and with no water touching it (these are old pictures)

this was where a old bricked watch tower/lighthouse fell into the water
bunch of stones and bricks under the water
it where you can find the most Hermit Crabs on the island

Yeah Biloxi and the coastal Cities are the only places that are awesome in MS.
Biloxi being my favorite. Funny when I was a kid I hated it. But most teens hate where they live till they meet the rest of the world.
I wanted to live in New York, New York in a flat. Then I wanted to live in California. I could still handle the California if I was mega rich.
I don't think I would have been as happy in New York. I lived in Cali for 4 years and loved it, but it's too expensive. I love Biloxi and when I want a little change I just drive 1.5 hours over
to New Orleans. I love that place to but I would have to be mega rich and own my own store in the square and buys some guns. lol

Donny, What can you tell me about Pass Christian, MS?
Sorry it took me so long
basically Pass Christian is about 30 minutes away and it is connect directly to the beach as well
there is not much there at all and that was before Hurricane Katrina
from what I heard and saw they got hit the hardest (in Mississippi) than anyone
I used to go the Mardi Gras parade there last time they only had 5 floats (let down)
Probably very inexpensive to live there but you have to drive far besides beach for entertainment
