Biden Says Hillary would Have been a Better Choice

I started a thread about rumors of Biden's impending demise as a VP Candidate and it was poo-pooed. Well, this is my opinion is telegraphing what might mean his resignation:

"Make no mistake about this," Biden responded. "Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Let’s get that straight. She’s a truly close personal friend, she is qualified to be president of the United States of America, she’s easily qualified to be vice president of the United States of America, and quite frankly, it might have been a better pick than me. But she’s first rate, I mean that sincerely, she’s first rate, so let’s get that straight."

Obama's been slipping badly ever since Palin's was introduced to the world. I think many Democrats believe they can't win the election with Biden as VP. And that in itself is amazing--with all the perceived Bush screw-ups, you'd think a Democrat would be elected easily--it goes to show you how out of touch they are with the average American--you look at Palin--she's much more in touch with the average Joe than Obama or Biden will ever be. Hell, her appeal alone is enough to win it for McCain.
