The Lakers getting ousted from the playoffs by losing by nearly 40 points. :D Oh, and then Odom and Bynum showing absolutely no class with their cheap shots on Dirk and Barea in the 4th quarter.

I'm stoked that if my Spurs' dynasty ended this year that so did the Lakers'. I've never been able to stand the Lakers, so this was wonderful to watch. Now we stand a good chance of seeing completely different teams in the NBA finals than we've seen in years. In the last decade, only the Spurs, Lakers, and Mavs have represented the Western Conference in the finals, while I think 8-9 different teams have represented the East. I think the Lakers were there 5 times, the Spurs 4, and the Mavs once. But, I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict that the Mavs make it to the finals against the Bulls.

I'm hoping the Celts take the Heat out of this... but I think that after this year, they're going the way of the Spurs and Lakers. All three teams are just getting too old, especially with some of the up and coming teams in both Conferences. The Grizz have come out of nowhere in the west to show themselves as one of the top teams in all of the NBA, at least in this postseason. The Thunder keep getting better and better, and you can't ever count CP3 and the Hornets out of anything. The Mavs look to be rebuilding pretty well, but as Dirk gets older, I don't think they have more than another year or two before their time is over as well.
