Some go really good, some not so much, but which series (or season) finale's of TV shows that you love have either stayed in your mind or driven you crazy?

For me.

Life On Mars (UK Version). Series finale was fantastic. I'll try not to give stuff away, they largely went how I thought they would go, but they did it so much better. Yet another reason why John Simm is my favourite actor

Battlestar Galactica (New Version). Only just reached the final of the series. I actually expected something else, a different twist, but it greatness aside from one small part involving Kara which bugged me.

Greys Season 5. The season that finished last year, not the current one (dur). I was SO caught up in the twist at the end. The end was actually so good that I've avoided watching the current season.

I'm so sad I've youtube'd it a few times just to watch that last few minutes again!

I don't think the US version connected with people over there as well as the UK version did with us guys

I watched the US version but I didn't enjoy it as much as the UK version. Their version of Gene Hunt, just doesn't compare!

Did you also watch Ashes to Ashes?

Did Harvey Keitel play that role? Good actor but maybe not in that it would seem!

I can't hear "Life on Mars" by Bowie without thinking of that finale

And yes I watched the first season of "Ashes to Ashes". It grated after a while, but I stuck with it and it had a great finale. I still didn't want to see Season Two though

I thought in improved with Season Two, but I just don't like the woman, Alex? She just annoys me so much. I liked the finale of the second series, it was pretty good but it doesn't compare with Life On Mars.

i liked the ending of the venture brothers season one where the two people died... then at the beginning of season 2 it was explained that they have actually been cloned 14 times and were unawares lol

The best ever of all-time was the old NBC hospital drama St. Elsewhere. Honorable Mention to Newhart.

Hard to think of an epic one of late, since most shows don't know for sure it's the final episode when it's being made. Networks so often don't make decisions on a show's fate until the season is complete.

I will give some props to ER for their final SEASON... they did a nice job of memorializing the show. But the final episode was pretty cliche and a letdown IMO.

I'm holding out great hope that LOST will knock it out of the park with their finale, though!
